MANDATORY LOVE BY THE AUTUMN STONES

The new single from Toronto’s Autumn Stones starts with a burst of sax that makes you think that hear lie modern Canada’s answer to Roxy Music.

That notion doesn’t last, however. Mandatory Love then develops into a bloody perfect pop song. Hook-laden jangle and smooth vocals proliferate, that horn backing never threatening to take over. A sheer delight, the first single taken from the new LP.
