SX1000 BY THE LUCID DREAM

A new album is in the can from Carlisle’s The Lucid Dream. And the first teaser we have from it suggests a fairly radical departure.

Formerly noted for their krautrock/industrial stylings, SX1000 launches into an underground borderline acid house theme. Indeed, the track’s inception came about from a diet of late ’80s/early ’90s Chicago house the band found themselves on and then threw a load of 303s and 808s at it and saw what stuck. The result is quite extraordinary.
