Having sourced the crowdfunding required to make a follow-up to her 2015 debut Dreams From The Factory Floor, Wakefield’s Louise Distras lets us in on what’s to come.
The album will be out in the autumn and this first track sets the tone. It’s a proper punk record, railing against the inequities of consumerism and modern society. Distras explains: “In a world where God is money, it feels like the constant consumer manipulation that we as people face on a daily basis from big corporations and government stands against everything we value as human beings; peace, love and understanding.”
