A fifth edition of Andy Falkous’s side project landed yesterday.
There’s promise of a new Future Of The Left release before the year is out, and this fifth instalment of Christian Fitness fills the gap nicely. Once again, Falco frees himself of those pesky other voices that make up FotL and embraces strings – inevitably adding to a wall of noise. “This is album number 5 from the epoch-straddling christian fitness”, says Falco, “gestated over a move to London, fatherhood, and the slowly dawning realisation than everybody – everybody, mind – thinks they’re right, even the complete twat handles.” Fatherhood hasn’t changed him. Yet.
