Proggish, krautrockish psychedelia from Denmark on Mythic Sunship’s third LP, due out in very short order.
The name is a mangling of album titles from John Coltrane and Sun Ra, so you could be forgiven for expecting a jazz record. Instead, you get swirling guitars writhing round a dense blanket of bassy fuzz. The jazz influence comes from the process rather than the end result.
Boogie Doom, the label call it, and that seems to suit. Astonishing stuff from a band approaching their acme.
