And very good it is too. Curious Music For Curious People compared it to early DJ Shadow and The Avalanches, among others, and that’s not far from the mark. 18 tracks is perhaps more than you’d expect with this kind of music, but at 45 minutes the LP is not overly long and definitely does not outstay any welcome. Indeed, packing in that much allows Dan to show off his full range – from cinematic to more funk based and all stops in between. And it includes the occasional banger, such as this.
