The floods in Leeds a few winters ago left many people with big clear-up jobs, few more so than MJ of Hookworms and his Suburban Home studio.

Having become one of the area’s most sought-after producers, it was inevitable that Hookworms would take a back seat while the studios were rebuilt and the backlog created was cleared. All is well now, however, and Hookworms have recently announced the release of their third album, giving us a teaser to go with it.
Microshift will arrive on February 2 and Negative Space is the first single from it. It starts with a Kraftwerky/Royksoppy kling-klang before taking us to more familiar territory.
