Team Ghost are back, three years on from their last album, with a new, self-titled long player. And to introduce it, there’s eight minutes of brilliance in the form of Revelations.

Revelations is a towering, shimmering behemoth of a record. And yet it’s the outro that really gets us.
The first four-and-three-quarter minutes are your typical Team Ghost: it’s that electronica that the French do so well, with big swells and crashing cymbals. And then… And then… The last three-and-a-bit minutes are a single chord, very gradually petering away. It’s bold, it’s ambitious, it works and it leaves the hair on the back of your neck standing to attention. Just incredible.
