We’ve had music from these two before, albeit under the sobriquet Cwtch. Indeed, I Drove To The River still flicks all our switches. Now, the electronica plus poetry project returns.
We’re claiming the electronica/poetry thing as an emerging genre, as expounded by Steve Cobby and Russ Litten, for example, as well as our editor and his debut single. This is a classic example. Craven’s vocals are this time wrapped around words from the poem As Yearning Is Red by Rachel Dacus while Paul Foster’s sounds wrap effortlessly around it all. It’s almost like they’ve done this before. Utterly sublime.
