Hints of summer abound in this track from South London trio Happyness, a portent of what’s to come on the new LP Write In.

There are shades of Dinosaur Junior throughout, though the band cite influences such as  Roxy Music, The Beach Boys, Randy Newman, Sonic Youth, Big Star and Pierre Cavalli. The band told the NME “I think it’s probably about coming right to the point of spilling your feelings, but backing out at the last moment. When you find yourself changing what you’re saying mid-sentence.”
