In which we try and fail to not use words like zeitgeist. And probably fail.
A few things flick the switches round these parts. Making an unholy racket, great album titles and sticking it to the man. This ticks all those boxes and has the added benefit of being extremely timely.
At a time when Britain’s minister for international trade – inexplicably, lest we forget, disgraced former Defence Sectretary Liam Fox – is cosying up to the vile Rodrigo Duterte in the Philippines and the Prime Minister is flogging arms to the Saudis to use in their proxy war in Yemen and getting more irate about false stories suggesting a word is being removed from promotions of things for kids to do in the school holidays, something needs to be said. Gnod – silent G – do just that on the new LP, JUST SAY NO TO THE PSYCHO RIGHT-WING CAPITALIST FASCIST INDUSTRIAL DEATH MACHINE (their capitalisation).
