THE NEVER NEVER BY PHOBOPHOBES

2016 was a difficult year for Phobophobes,  the South London outfit losing guitarist George Russell and previous single Human Baby was a tribute to the late man. Now they return.

Despite the tragic loss of Russell, the sound hasn’t altered. They continue down the same furrow and do it very well. “The Never Never is a critique of today’s excessive consumerism. The repetitive and slogan-esque nature of the track evokes the reductive nature of advertising.” explains frontman Jamie Taylor. It also helps to have a catchy riff or two. Works for us.
