A band that made themselves known to our editor via a message on Soundcloud. Lusterlit are Brooklyn duo Susan Hwang and Charlie Nieland.

It’s literature-inspired stuff and sees Hwang and Nieland alternate on vocals while supporting one another on guitar, bass, synths, accordion, traditional Korean drums… you name it.
It makes for a unique sound which makes itself apparent on the new EP List Of Equipment. It includes tracks inspired by John Wyndham’s Day Of The Triffids, Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy, Mastering The Art Of French Cooking by Julia Child and two from Jonathan Lethem’s the Fortress Of Solitude, including the track we feature here.
